Location: Cascade Range, central Oregon,
45 miles (70 km) NW of Bend
Lat / Long: 44.5° N, 121.8° W
Volcanic Type: Dissected shield volcano
Volcanic Status: Extinct
First Ascent: E. McNeal, P. Philbrook, A. Furrer,
E. Johnson, L. Harryman, and E. Putnam, 1923
First Ski Descent: Unknown, probably not skiable from summit
Skiable Vertical: up to 3400 ft (1050 m)
Timberline: 6000-7000 ft (1800-2100 m)
Administration: Deschutes National Forest / Willamette National Forest
Protection Status:   Mount Jefferson Wilderness
User Fees: Northwest Forest Pass required for parking
(Sno-Park Permit from November-April)

Note that Mount Washington and Three Fingered Jack have just been added to the online guidebook in December 2002, bringing the total
