Ski crampons were very helpful on the firm, steepening snow of the Roman Wall, and we skied up to 10200 ft before climbing on foot with crampons up the final 35-40 degree face to the summit dome. From 10500 ft to the top of the dome (10760+ ft) we again skied, arriving at the top in a brisk 40 mph wind at 1:30 PM. Puget Sound is still visible in the distant haze.
