That's Bill arcing a few turns on the Muir Snowfield. In the background are the two heavily-crevassed lobes of the Nisqually Glacier flowing down from the summit of Rainier. The snow here is covered with a thin layer of windblown pumice, but ski conditions were actually fairly good for mid-summer. Soft corn snow and only moderately sun-cupped.
