This panorama was taken near the 7500 ft (2300 m) level just above Pebble Creek. Nearly the entire length and expanse of the Muir Snowfield is visible, arcing around to the right and then up to Camp Muir (located just below and right of Gibraltar Rock, the massive block on the skyline straight above Matt in this photo). The Nisqually Glacier tumbles down from the summit into the valley to the left of the Muir Snowfield.
