Skiing Towards Paradise
All too soon, in only half an hour, we were back down to Glacier Vista. We had descended by a slightly different route than we had climbed, farther west and just above the Nisqually Glacier, in order to avoid removing our skis on the descent. Here Reina looks back up at the summit, with Mount Adams still looming in the distance behind her, before we skied the final slushy slopes back to Paradise.
